Eligibility Criteria
For Highly Qualified Refugees:
- Hold refugee status in Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, or Mauritania, granted before April 3, 2023.

For Highly Qualified Graduates:
- Be a citizen of Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, or Mauritania.

What Does the DAAD Leadership for Africa Scholarship Offer?
The scholarship provides both financial and professional support, including:
- A language course in Germany (up to 6 months) before starting university studies.
- Tuition-free M.A. or M.Sc. degree program at a public or state-recognized university in Germany starting in the winter term of 2025.
